I build and run the infrastructure under web applications: Google Cloud, Docker, Nginx and Linux servers, watched by Nagios and Netdata and shipped through CI/CD. I'm studying computer science at Universitas Islam Indonesia and looking for a cloud infrastructure or system administration role.

About

I'm a system administrator and cloud engineer who came to infrastructure through backend development. Writing APIs in Node.js and Laravel taught me what applications need from the servers under them, and now that's the part I enjoy most: containerizing services, putting Nginx in front of them, wiring up monitoring, and automating the path from commit to production.

On AgriWise I built a Dockerized backend on Google Cloud Run and Firestore that made the top 50 of Google's APAC Solution Challenge. For the Yemeni Students Union I built and deployed the community platform, from the database schema to production and DNS. On CampusConnect I containerized the backend behind Nginx, and our team's GatraJava backend won Best Project in an international COIL program.

I study Informatics at UII on a full scholarship, and spent 2026's summer semester on exchange at INTI International University in Malaysia. From 2024 to 2026 I was a lab teaching assistant for computer networks, web development and programming courses. Before university I installed servers and set up monitoring systems for a contracting company in Sana'a.

    Backend developer and division head

    Yemeni Students Union – Indonesia (YSUI)

    • Nov 2025 – Jan 2026: built the union's community platform from scratch in a three-person team, owning the API, database schema, production deployment and DNS.
    • Delivered membership management and a full admin panel so leaders can manage content themselves.
    • Since April 2026, head of Academic and Cultural Affairs after a year as a division member.

    Freelance developer

    Remote, for small businesses

    • Design REST APIs and database schemas, and run deployments on Google Cloud Run, Vercel and Supabase.
    • Co-Fluency: a serverless language-exchange app on React, TypeScript and Supabase, deployed on Vercel, with authentication and real-time features.
    • SanaaSouq: backend APIs for products, authentication and orders in Node.js, Express and MongoDB.

    • Took Artificial Intelligence, Introduction to Data Analytics and Software Engineering.
    • Built DocuMind, an agentic RAG pipeline for finance documents, and GrowCare 2, an offline crop-disease assistant running YOLO and Gemma on the phone.

    Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDGoC) UII

    • Joined the hacker team in March 2025 and built AgriWise for the Google Solution Challenge.
    • Moved to the core team in November 2025 and spoke at chapter events as a former hacker.

    • Built the backend in Laravel 12 and PHP 8.3 and designed the MySQL schema for destinations, bookings, blogs and users.
    • Implemented role-based access for admins, attraction managers and users, and a booking system with real-time availability.
    • Our team's MVP won the program's Best Project Award.

    • Represented UII in a cohort of 14 students from 14 countries.
    • Led the proposal and Figma prototype for an AI medical-tourism recovery assistant, which took 2nd place.

    Capstone project, Universitas Islam Indonesia

    • Designed the backend architecture and PostgreSQL schema with Prisma, and built the REST and analytics APIs in Node.js and Express.
    • Deployed the API on Google Cloud Run, the Next.js frontend on Vercel and the database on Supabase.
    • Integrated Gemini to turn hospital data into insights for executives.

    Backend lead, AgriWise

    Google APAC Solution Challenge

    • Built the Node.js backend, containerized it with Docker and deployed it to Google Cloud Run.
    • Designed the Firestore data model with Cloud Storage for images and Firebase Auth for accounts.
    • Integrated Gemini for plant-disease image analysis. The app was selected for the top 50 in the Asia-Pacific region.
